Another Way To Keep Me From Work
Shortly after BoA’s performance at the 2009 Gay Pride Festival in San Francisco, California, she was met with controversy back in her homeland of South Korea. The issues of the LGBT community are considered taboo in many parts of Asia, but despite this, BoA herself has stated that her love for her fans knows no bounds, regardless of race, gender, age, or sexual orientation, even yelling “Gay Pride Rocks!” after her performance.

ISWAK (and TKA) is a Taiwanese drama that features Ariel Lin and Joe Cheng. What can I say when the series is actually better than the anime? I have watched the anime and they’re quite similar. This is my all time favorite drama. The story lines are good, lots of drama and funny moments! At first, Xiang Qin’s crying and dependence on Zhi Shu annoyed me big time but as the show goes on, I started to like her. Anyhoo, although this is an old drama, I would still recommend this to those who haven’t watched this yet. I personally think this is better than the anime and Playful Kiss :)

Actor Or Acress of the Week: Continued
Joe Cheng
I thing Joe Cheng is a great actor, and personally is my favorite male Taiwanese actor. I think that Joe Cheng is better than Taiwanese dramas, in the fact that Taiwanese dramas do not let him shine with the potential that he has. I think that if Joe Cheng put his mind to it, and started learning Korean, would be great in Korean Dramas which for the most part have better story lines, acting, and well over all drama. I think if Joe Cheng was in a Korean drama, he would really shine, and his great acting would come through even better. I will be waiting for that day that I can see him in a very melodramatic Korean drama that will show off his talent as an actor.
